Hand-coded websites for UK service businesses that need to win work.

Live in days. Built to earn. Priced where one closed job pays for it.

Paignton · Torbay · 2026 — Hand-coded by Reece, founder-led.

The problem

Your site should be your hardest-working employee. Most aren't even on the clock.

You've probably been sold one of these:

  • A £4,000 agency site that took four months and reads like a brochure for a company that doesn't exist.

  • A Wix or Squarespace template that loads like it's still on dial-up, looks like every other site in your trade, and ranks nowhere.

  • A mate-who-does-web job that's been “nearly finished” since 2023.

  • A Fiverr build you binned before launch because the stock photos were Canadian.

None of them are built to sell. They're built to be handed over.

A working site does three things: loads fast, says the right thing in the first five seconds, gives the visitor one obvious next step. Everything else is decoration.

The proof

What a working site actually is.

Hand-coded. Mobile-first. Conversion-ready. The numbers below are the floor, not the ceiling. Every build hits them or it isn't finished.

  • 90+ PageSpeed score (guaranteed)
  • <2s Load time on mobile
  • 4 Days from brief to live
  • 4 Pages, hand-coded
  • Wired Lead form to inbox
  • £0 Monthly platform fee

A site that hits these numbers is ready for paid traffic the day it ships. Ads on top if you want them later — sold separately, only to clients whose sites I've built.

The Performance Guarantee

Hits the numbers, or we rebuild it free.

Your site will load in under 2 seconds on mobile and score 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights on launch day. If it doesn't, I rebuild it free or refund you in full.

Checkable by anyone with a browser. No subjective wiggle. Either it hits the numbers or it doesn't.

That's not marketing. It's the floor. A site that doesn't hit those numbers isn't finished.

How it works

From first call to live site, in days. Not weeks.

No vague timelines. No scope creep. Four steps from "hello" to a site that earns. No agency theatre in between.

Tiny Dreamers homepage — UK baby brand built by The Fresh Site

Case study

Tiny Dreamers — a UK baby brand.

A new baby brand needed a site that felt premium without feeling cold, loaded instantly on mobile (where 80% of their traffic comes from), and was ready to sell from day one.

Clean design, hand-coded, mobile-perfect. Live in under two weeks. Ready for paid traffic and organic search the day it launched.

Reece built my website for Tiny Dreamers from scratch, went from rough idea to live site in under a week. Clean design, and he was responsive whenever I had questions. Couldn't recommend higher.

Who's building it

You're talking to the person who's actually building it.

I'm Reece. I run The Fresh Site out of Paignton. I write the code, I write the copy, I do the calls. No team of juniors. No outsourcing. No handoff between sales and delivery.

I've been building sites for about three years. I came at it backwards — I learned how to write copy and run ads first, then built the technical skills to make sites that actually convert what the ads send. That's why I know what a site needs to do, not just what it needs to look like.

The Fresh Site is small on purpose. Three builds a month, hand-coded, founder-led. If you want a fast site that's built to earn and you'd rather talk to a person than a portal — I'm your guy.

— Reece

Capacity

I take three builds a month. No more.

2 of 3 slots left
this month (May)

Hand-coded, founder-led work is slow on purpose. Three builds a month means every site gets real attention, ships in days not months, and actually hits the performance numbers.

When the month is booked, the month is booked. No squeezing.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

  • Why are you cheaper than the agencies I've spoken to?

No office, no account managers, no juniors padding the bill. Senior people doing the work, priced for what it takes — not what the market thinks it should cost.

  • Can I edit the site myself once it's live?

Yes. We'll show you how to update text, swap photos, add new sections. Anything structural, message the studio and we sort it.

  • Do I own the site?

Completely. Your domain, your hosting, your code. Move it, sell it, hire someone else tomorrow — it's yours.

  • Why isn't ads management included in the build price?

Ads only work when the site converts. I'd rather build the site, prove it converts, then add ads if you want them. You're not paying for traffic to a page that isn't ready.

  • Why hand-coded? What does that actually mean for me?

Twice as fast as a Wix or Squarespace equivalent. Better Google ranking. No monthly platform fee to a software company. You own every line.

  • Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Klarna and Clearpay are wired in. £750 splits to £250/month for three months at zero interest.

  • What if I don't have copy or photos?

You'll get a first draft of every page written from our 15-minute call. For photos, we'll tell you exactly what to shoot — or we use what you've got.

Last bit

Ready for a site that earns?

15-minute call. You tell me what your business does and what you want the site to do. I'll tell you the tier, the timeline, and the price on the call. If I can't help, I'll tell you that too.

No deck. No pitch. No follow-up sequence.
